WHEPP 2025

WHEPP XVIII - IIT Hyderabad - Dec 14 - 20, 2025

The Workshop on High Energy Physics Phenomenology 2025 (WHEPP-2025) is a prominent international series of workshops on particle physics with a strong focus on particle physics phenomenology and its connections to both formal theory and experiments. Held biennially, WHEPP serves as India's most significant recurring international event in this field since 1989. The workshop encompasses the entire breadth of particle physics, organised into various topical working groups. The upcoming XVIII edition (WHEPP-2025) will be held in IIT Hyderabad.

As participation in the WHEPP 2025 is by invitation only, please contact the organisers (whepp2025@gmail.com) if you are a faculty member.

ReGistration & timetable

- The registration will open in the month of September 2025. All participants are required to pay registration fees and for the accommodation.
- Registration fees (Tentative: 9000 + GST (PhD students/ Postdocs), 12000 + GST (Faculty), 300 $ (participants from outside India)), fees payment from late September onwards.
- Visa support deadline: 15 September 2025

Accomodation

Accommodation (from 13th December night to 21st December morning):
Only for PhD students Rs. 350 per night in Hostels (subject to availability of Hostel rooms)
IITH Guest House Rooms (Tentative Rates per night):

a) Single occupancy Rs. 1500 + GST; Double occupancy: Rs. 2000 + GST

b) King Size Bedroom (Single occupancy): Rs. 2000 + GST; (Double occupancy): Rs 2300 + GST

c) Suite: Rs 2800 +GST

d) Super Suite: Rs 3000 + GST

One can opt for Hotels (no specific recommendation)
Please note students and postdocs will be given sharing accommodation in guest house
