It’s blue night at the cult again. I’m standing outside the cult, at the end of their little driveway, while blue light shines out of the front windows of the cult house. Through the hole they cut in the roof some blue light spills upwards. Every now and then you can see a soul drift up through the glow and disappear into the dark night, arms and legs t…

There were no cabins to spend the night in, we were in the middle of December and the darkness was overwhelming: barely two hours of twilight sun faded into a pitch-black night. We marched with the head torches on, desperately searching for cairns marking tracks, which were often hard to find in the dark.

The following stage was a genuine adventure since, rather out of the blue, I discarded all previous plans and went instead for a new route across an area I had never been before. The result was an amazing experience of bitter cold, absolute loneliness, stunning landscapes in Arctic blue light and overwhelming beauty.

colour the whole image first (the bed, the girl, the dog, etc using your normal colour palette) THEN cover the whole illustration in blue for the nighttime darkness and just see what happens to the original colours (the bed, dog etc - their colours automatically darken as the blue is washed over the top)

are you actually just drawing the character in the room and then the blue night time inky night on a separate sheet and then scanning that and putting one over the top of the other digitally and using a blending mode?

When and how to use: At After the cream step of your skincare routine, apply a small amount of product to damaged, irritated, or sensitive areas of the face. Alternatively, use a small amount as an allover moisturizing cream.

I also use it on my whole face or on my drier cheeck area, addind a second moisturizer/sleeping pack during night and a lotion before the cream during day. what I especially liked about this cream is the scent. It reminds me of France and meadows and wildflowers and calms me down. I also experienced that it calms my cheecks, if they are reddened. It is not a moisturizer for dry skin types (could be perfect for normal skin though), but it is a good calming cream in my eyes.

Nice story I moved to NC and I was so disappointed when I learned no blue crabs. So I found a sight and had some shipped Again a great big disappointment all females and so light. If you could ship me some please let me know your price for a 6 dozen

While light of any kind can suppress the secretion of melatonin, blue light at night does so more powerfully. Harvard researchers and their colleagues conducted an experiment comparing the effects of 6.5 hours of exposure to blue light to exposure to green light of comparable brightness. The blue light suppressed melatonin for about twice as long as the green light and shifted circadian rhythms by twice as much (3 hours vs. 1.5 hours).

Despite the large number of letters Van Gogh wrote, he said very little about The Starry Night.[1] After reporting that he had painted a starry sky in June, Van Gogh next mentioned the painting in a letter to Theo on or about 20 September 1889, when he included it in a list of paintings he was sending to his brother in Paris, referring to it as a "night study."[24] Of this list of paintings, he wrote, "All in all the only things I consider a little good in it are the Wheatfield, the Mountain, the Orchard, the Olive trees with the blue hills and the Portrait and the Entrance to the quarry, and the rest says nothing to me"; "the rest" would include The Starry Night. When he decided to hold back three paintings from this batch in order to save money on postage, The Starry Night was one of the paintings he did not send.[25] Finally, in a letter to painter mile Bernard from late November 1889, Van Gogh referred to the painting as a "failure."[26]

He wrote about existing in another dimension after death and associated this dimension with the night sky. "It would be so simple and would account so much for the terrible things in life, which now amaze and wound us so, if life had yet another hemisphere, invisible it is true, but where one lands when one dies."[42] "Hope is in the stars," he wrote, but he was quick to point out that "earth is a planet too, and consequently a star, or celestial orb."[37] And he stated flatly that The Starry Night was "not a return to the romantic or to religious ideas."[43]

Van Gogh experienced his second breakdown in seven months in July 1889.[67] Naifeh and Smith theorize that the seeds of this breakdown were present when Van Gogh painted The Starry Night, that in giving himself over to his imagination "his defenses had been breached."[81] On that day in mid-June, in a "state of heightened reality," with all the other elements of the painting in place,[82] Van Gogh threw himself into the painting of the stars, producing, they write, "a night sky unlike any other the world had ever seen with ordinary eyes."[31]

Because you only need so little product each time (2-3 drops, warmed up between your palms and applied to skin) it will last you a long while. And because you only use a little product, it does not actually stain your skin blue. I have read people saying that their skin takes on a blue tint when they use this. I personally do not notice this.

I had been following the reviews and feedback for a while, and when the news broke that the blue was just pure and simple colouring, I was very disappointed in the brand. The colour was unnecessary and clearly, only a marketing gimmick, for otherwise, there would be no need to add colouring into the ingredients. Further, as many people had also pointed out, the ingredient list does not boast very many expensive oils. There is no real indication of how potent the retinol is, and there is quite a large number of fragrant oils that can be irritating to skin.

Haha OK I visited and yes, I did have the urge to throw my money at them LOL I have heard however that people face problems with customs when buying straight from May Lindstrom vs buying from other sites.

Nearly gave in to own a bottle of this HG when the scorching weather of Adelaide held my skin ransom for a good face oil. But luck was on my side when this SA of Mecca was so nice to draw out few pumps from the tester and let me took home in a container. I had probably met an Angel who had descended from heaven to help secular skincare junkie to save from deceptive product, Lol.

Use nightly on clean skin after toner, eye cream, and serums. Apply to your face + neck in an upward motion. For skin that needs extra hydration, Deep Bleu can also be used as your daytime moisturizer.

How to use:

Use two or three drops and apply light strokes all over your face as the final step in your morning or evening treatment. It can be mixed with a moisturizer or foundation.

Interestingly though, by both definitions not everywhere in the world experienced the same number or position of blue moons in a year. This is due to different parts of the globe having different timezones, but the Moon having only one moment in time when it is full.

I came on board with the production in early 2014, and I met with George Miller, the director, and talked about what the look could be like. It was amazing to get such an open brief which was essentially "it should be saturated and graphic, and the night scenes should be blue". The main reason for this is quite interesting. George has been watching 30 years of other post-apocalyptic films and noticed that they all use the same bleached and de-saturated look. We knew we didn't want to make yet another film like that, so we had to find a way to make it saturated and rich.

The other aspect was to keep each frame as graphic as possible. When it came to the night scenes, we experimented with silvery looks and photo-realistic looks but found that the graphic rich blue night look was the best option for the film.

Like with any film, the main objective is to match the skin tones of the characters across the cuts. On a few occasions, we would help out an actor who might have had a pimple or something on that shoot day. The film was shot over 6 months, so it's quite normal to see blemishes appear across the cut. We simply tracked their face and smoothed out the skin to remove the acne.

We also spent a lot of time on the eyes of the characters. There's very little dialogue in the film, and a lot of the performances come from the looks and expressions of the actors. The human brain focuses about 80% attention on a character's eyes, so we wanted to make sure they were clear and vivid in every shot. I essentially rotoscoped every eyeball in the film and added contrast and sharpness to them. This made the eyes vivid and helped draw your attention to their performances. 17dc91bb1f
