GroupLink ("we", "our", or "us") operates the GroupLink: WhatsApp Groups mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use GroupLink.
By using GroupLink, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you create or use a GroupLink account, we may collect information such as:

When you submit or interact with a WhatsApp group through GroupLink, we may collect:

Location Information
If you grant location permission, GroupLink may access your approximate or precise device location to provide location-based group discovery features, such as finding groups near you.
You can disable location access through your device settings.

We may automatically receive limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the App, such as:

• App version

• Crash and diagnostic information

3. WHATSAPP GROUP LINKS
GroupLink is a group discovery platform and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc.
WhatsApp group links submitted to GroupLink may be displayed to other users as part of the group's public listing.
Users should only submit group links that they are authorized to share.
4. SHARING OF INFORMATION
We do not sell users' personal information.
We may share information when reasonably necessary to operate GroupLink, including with:
• Service providers that help us operate our servers, databases, analytics, security, or other infrastructure
• Authorities or other parties when required by applicable law or a valid legal request
• Parties involved in a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, where legally permitted
We require applicable service providers to handle information according to appropriate security and confidentiality requirements.
5. PUBLICLY VISIBLE INFORMATION
Some information submitted to GroupLink may be publicly visible to other users.
For example, a published group listing may contain:
• Group name
• Group description
• Category
• Group image
• Language
• Location or category information
• Group statistics
• Ratings and reviews
Do not submit personal or confidential information that you do not want publicly displayed.
6. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Data transmitted between the App and our servers is protected using appropriate encryption technologies such as HTTPS/TLS where applicable.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide GroupLink's services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.
8. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
You may request deletion of your GroupLink account and associated personal information through the account deletion functionality provided in the App or through our designated account-deletion process.
After receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize applicable personal information, except where retention is required or permitted by law, security requirements, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate legal purposes.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
GroupLink is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
GroupLink may use third-party services to provide infrastructure, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, security, or other functionality.
These services may process information on our behalf according to their respective privacy policies and applicable requirements.
We do not permit third-party service providers to use personal information for purposes inconsistent with the services they provide to GroupLink.
