I have been trying to edit photos that I received in Whatsapp in Photoshop. But while I try to open such images in Photoshop, it throws me an error like in the image. But now I can add those images by applying a trick. But still, I don't know the reason why Photoshop can't open? Any explanation of the error.

I am facing the same issue on my iphone 12 after ios 17 update, i cannot preview images or even listen voice notes , it just keeps loading forever, i did go in whats app help section to atleast raise a ticket but they keep giving me stupid Bot responses and suggestions which are not helpful at all. Lets pray if Apple or whats app acknowledge this bug and fix asap

It happened after a quick message about whatsapp update I had to do (don't remember I've seen any previous notification about it) around the 25th, and since this update - it stopped loading the previews.

So i recently moved from a redmi to a samsung a52s, and i have a problem with backups (i think). I have some old media that got transferred over, i deleted it from my gallery but its getting downloaded again every time i update whatsapp (i can see from the picture details that its media from whatsapp). Every time i delete the pictures, it keeps downloading them again on the next app update, im going a bit mad with this problem. This was not happening on redmi miui so i guess its some setting i have to disable, but i dont know which.

Got into work this morning and saw on WW (Chrome) that images are not showing up. I took a screenshot and posted into WW for someone; the picture went through and reflects on my phone, but is just blank on the chat.

I've tried lots of the solutions presented online and I'm not having any luck with this. I'm going to try a Wix site at this rate and move my sites over. Very disappointing and now clients are complaining.

But WhatsApp still has to store media in some location, otherwise how would it show in chats. I am able to access the media while scrolling through a whatsapp chat, even while offline, so the media is definitely getting stored somewhere on my phone. Can I access this location?
