We aim to produce interactive museum exhibits to introduce children to the weird and wonderful world of different animals' experiences, with the aim of inspiring their curiosity and passion for learning as young philosophers, and increasing empathy and understanding for other species.
We use a variety of media and ways of interacting with the material to help engage children's imagination in different ways, including artistic activities, games, VR, museum specimens, and provision of scientific information and philosophical questions through video and noticeboards.
We aim to make philosophy and science accessible and relevant to as wide a range of children as possible.
While this initial project is a 2 day event at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, we envision it as a pilot for a much larger and longer-running project, and we are keen to hear from potential collaborators, venues and funders about possible future ventures!
