Call for Participation
*Extension* - please submit by midnight (AOE) Friday 13th February
Contributions are invited from researchers, designers, and practitioners interested in HCI, robotics, and relational interaction. Please submit a short position statement or prior work summary to facilitate discussion. All outputs, including maps of robot features, research roadmaps, and workshop position papers, will be published and made publicly available.
We invite submissions in the form of a short position statement or prior work summary. Submissions should articulate a clear position, idea, or provocation related to the workshop themes.
We encourage proposals that are provocative in concept, method, or robot design, including early-stage, speculative, or conceptual work that reflects on how HCI can play a leading role in shaping emerging forms of robotic interaction.
Submissions may address, for example:
Provocative positions on future directions for HRI
Experimental or unconventional methods
Robot designs or artefacts, including early-stage or conceptual work
Critical or speculative perspectives on human–robot interaction
Conceptual framing on how HCI can provide leading role in relational robotics
Format: Extended abstract format is recommended. Submissions are typically 2–4 pages including references. However, length will not be treated as an indicator of quality. For selection, emphasis will be placed on quality of ideas.
Important dates:
Submission deadline: *Extension* midnight Friday 13th (AOE) February
Notification: Monday 23rd February
Early Registration Deadline: Wednesday 4th March
