In 1989 we took 2 Falcons, a green 1967 2 door Futura with a 200 six cylinder and a green 1966 2 door Sports Coupe with a 289 V8, and combined parts to make a 1967 Falcon for Lora's first car. The 1966 Sports Coupe was very rusty and was only used for parts. We used the 1967 body and the suspension parts from the 1966 Sports Coupe. We planned to some day convert the 1967 over to a V8 drive train. The V8 has heavier springs, brakes and 5 lug wheels. The 6 cylinder Falcons have 4 lug wheels and lighter brake parts. It was stripped down to bare metal and painted Springtime Yellow. The Falcon was finished for Lora's senior year of High school.
Below are some of Lora's High School Graduation pictures.
The 3 pictures below are from Lora's first day driving the Falcon to school.
The original engine in the '67 Falcon was very tired. We found another '66 falcon with a stronger engine and did a quick engine swap.
Lora won 2nd place in her class at the Falcon Club Regional in 1990 in Tom's River, NJ.
