WHAAAM 2025 is looking for demonstrations on a variety of hardware security topics, including but not limited to:
Evolution of novel and practical threat models
Software-based exploitation of hardware vulnerabilities
Power analysis, fault-injection, or side-channels attacks on COTS systems
Automated techniques for hardware attack discovery
Study and improvement of security certification schemes
Real-world cost analysis of fault attacks
Open-source and open-hardware tooling for attacks
Evaluation of secure processor or co-processor implementations
Security evaluation of privacy-preserving (FHE, OT) implementations
Characterization of commercial cryptographic systems
Analysis of secure boot implementations
Systematization of Knowledge (SoK) studies
Proposal Requirements:
Limited to 1 page in length
Must include presenter's name, affiliation, title of work, a description of the work, and equipment requirements
Must be sent to the WHAAAM submission email by June 2, 2025
