Welcome to the Workshop on Hardware Attack Artifacts, Analysis, and Metrics (WHAAAM)!
WHAAAM aims to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world hardware security challenges by fostering open, artifact-driven contributions. As hardware attacks evolve from theoretical exercises to potent threats deployed by sophisticated adversaries, the need for practical defenses grows ever more urgent. This workshop seeks to advance our understanding of attacker capabilities through empirical analysis, robust countermeasures, and quantitative metrics—moving beyond proofs-of-concept to actionable insights.
We invite submissions that deepen the community’s knowledge of offensive hardware techniques, defensive strategies, and measurable security improvements. By prioritizing reproducibility and real-world relevance, WHAAAM strives to unite researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers in addressing today’s most pressing hardware security challenges.
Join us to explore cutting-edge research, share innovative artifacts, and collaborate on hardening systems against emerging threats. Check out our Call for Proposals for details on submission guidelines, and stay tuned for announcements!
