Wei-Hao Huang is an associate professor at the Institute of Political Science, National Sun Yat-sen University (Kaohsiung, Taiwan). I received his Ph.D. in the Division of Global Affairs from Rutgers University–Newark.
My research examines China’s foreign policy and international security through the lenses of alliance dynamics, signaling, and public opinion, with a growing focus on the political economy of “green” regionalism—particularly how environmental investment rules and green supply chains shape FDI and sustainable development.
My work has appeared in Contemporary Politics, International Relations of the Asia-Pacific, Economic and Political Studies, and other outlets, and he is currently leading multiple research projects funded by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) on green investment agreements, China’s reassurance strategies, and foreign influence and partnership networks.
