Travelling to Maastricht
Maastricht is located in the south of the Netherlands in the heart of Europe. It is close to the borders with neighbouring countries Belgium (2km) and Germany (14km). As a result of its international location, Maastricht can be reached from several airports, some of them outside the Netherlands.
How to reach Maastricht by plane?
1. By plane to Brussels Airport (www.brusselsairport.be) and subsequent train service (approx. 2:00h) to Maastricht.
2. By plane to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (www.schiphol.com) and subsequent train service (approx. 2:30–3:00h) to Maastricht.
3. By plane to Düsseldorf Airport (www.dus-int.de/dus_en) and subsequent train* service (approx. 2:45–3:15h) to Maastricht.
4. By plane to Cologne-Bonn Airport (www.koeln-bonn-airport.de/index.php?lang=2) and subsequent train service (approx. 3:00h) to Maastricht central station.
5. By plane to Maastricht-Aachen Airport (www.maa.nl) and subsequent taxi to Maastricht. The airport is very small. There are only a few connections to Maastricht-Aachen Airport.

Shuttle Services
The companies Taxi Patrick and Lindetours (website unfortunately only in Dutch) offer shuttle services connecting Maastricht to the airports of Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, and Düsseldorf. Shuttles services have to be booked in advance, which you can do on their websites.
