"A Monster in the Hollows"

The Wingfeather Family are allowed to live in the protected city of Ban Rona after Nia pledges her life as ransom for Kalmar, the wolf king. They settle into a domestic life with education and a blooming romance, but a lurking cloven monster breaks the community’s trust.

Translating the First Book, Bonifer Squoon and Oskar discover the secrets of the Fane of Fire and why Gnag the Nameless so desperately wants to capture the Wingfeather children. The family is betrayed and war begins in Ban Rona.

"The Deeps of Throg"

Kalmar decides to take the fight to Gnag the Nameless before he succumbs to the animal within him with Janner joining. The journey leads to strange lands and an ultimate test against a terrible evil. Leeli uses her Songmaiden gift to defend Ban Rona, but a sacrifice is made that will change the family forever.

With the Jewels of Anniera in his control, Gnag the Nameless unveils his darkest plan. All out war has come to Ban Rona and a terrible monster may destroy them all.
