Commercial Fishing Apprenticeship Program

• One month of training on fisheries work including some time at sea 

• All gear and materials are included, there is a stipend upon completion along with job placement assistance

• The classes are hosted at the University of Rhode Island

• They are trying to make jobs and help people find jobs related to addressing climate change while helping less privileged groups
