Please consider sponsoring the Westwood Velo Mountain Biking Team for our upcoming 2025 New Jersey NICA season.  The Westwood Velo Mountain Biking Team is comprised of middle school to high school student athletes. Why Our Student Athletes Need Your Sponsor Support

More kids on bikes // This is our jam!!! Your support helps us reduce the financial barrier to participation. The annual cost per child including all fees and apparel is approximately $500. Our first priority is to provide scholarships and sliding-scale fees to families who need them. As we establish sufficient support, we aim to reduce costs for all families.

Support Local Coaches 

Our volunteers not only give their time (~60-100 hrs. per coach each season), but they also pay their own fees for NICA coach certification. The minimum cost per coach is approximately $200 which covers items like background checks, NICA sign up fees, first aid/CPR training and On-the-Bike 101 coaching clinic.

Team Equipment 

Additional expenses include bike safety equipment such as bike lights, first aid kits and radios for riding in remote areas. The team also provides volunteer mechanics and the tools for bike maintenance and pre-race bike prep. The cycling team is also in need of a pop-up tent, and nutritional water, and energy bars.

The contribution(s) that you provide will be reciprocated with your corporate recognition at a minimum of six to twelve races throughout the state of New Jersey.  As well regional races held from Maryland to New England. Each of these races are attended by 500-1000 cyclists and spectators.
