About the Teacher

My name is Briana Flores and I am the AVID teacher at Westwood High School. I am passionate about providing the best education possible to all my students. I strive to ensure that all of my students feel cared for, challenged, and that they have an unwavering support. I attended Colorado Mesa University and Stephen F. Austin University for my undergraduate degree, and recently graduated with my masters from Stephen F. Austin University. I have been teaching at both Hernandez and Pearson Ranch Middle Schools for the last 9 years and I am excited to serve Westwood as an AVID teacher and interventionist this year.
