Mission of the project
RaccoonBot is a project that helps us promote environmental sustainability efforts. Completely student-designed from the ground up, RaccoonBot is a robot capable of collecting up to 8 pounds of trash and costs less than $500 to build. We emphasize accessibility for all teams, ensuring that all parts used are standard and repurposed FRC parts. At the same time, RaccoonBot serves as an introduction to rookie teams/members, allowing students to build a smaller robot using all FRC parts mirrored in competition.
