Melody Frey, Library Clerk

My passion for Libraries started with my first job in High School working at Hemet Public Library PT after school 6 days a week. Once I got married and had 2 sons, I introduced them to their first Library and their love of books is still very strong!

I worked at Burton Barr in Phoenix, AZ before our family relocated to MA. I am a Small Business owner and love my Graphic Design business but my love for working in a Library and working with Patrons has always been with me. I started working at West Warren Library in 2024 and love it! I have gotten to know and serve so many families and have the opportunity to meet new ones every day!

Susan Tower, Director

Susan began her library career in the reference department at the Berkshire Athenaeum at the age of 18. Since then she has worked in public, private, and academic libraries from Massachusetts to the Midwest. Her education includes the study of Biology at Westfield State College, and Library Science at Indiana University. Her greatest work accomplishment is being part of the continued growth and development of the West Warren Library and working with the wonderful staff and supportive Board.

Christy McCann, Assistant Director

My love♥️ for the library began while I was in the fifth grade. I am a passionate book lover who finds joy in quiet corners, well- worn pages, and the endless magic tucked inside a good story. Whether it's exploring new genres or revisiting old favorites, the library is my happy place. I am always on the hunt for my next great read and I'm a firm believer that there is a perfect book for every mood! 📖
