Now that you have gotten all of the back ground information, you need to write a letter home from the perspective of someone taking part in Western Expansion. Your letter should be written as if you were writing to someone back home who has no idea about the West and potentially is thinking about joining you. You must tell them the truth and how you feel!
In your letter you must describe three things that are going on around you and you must describe how you feel about them (positive or negative).
Whatever role you choose you can write from a male or female perspective.
