WSSC 2024 Dues Payment

How to renew your WSSC membership and pay your dues.

 

There are two steps to complete your renewal:

 

1.    PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

You can fill out the renewal form (PDF and MS Word editable file) that was sent to your email by the WSSC Membership Chair if you have any member, address, email, phone number, boat or other changes you want us to know. Please fill in the form only if information requires updating. If nothing is new just respond to the email with a comment that nothing is new and the membership chairperson will add a form for you.  Please consider volunteering for a club activity!


OR if nothing has changed since last year and you'd like to fill out the form, just print the form, put a check mark on the square that says "IF YOU HAVE NO CHANGES MARK HERE" ▢   Then sign at the bottom and go to the second page that has the volunteer opportunities for members - this page has been updated too. You can email this form back to the WSSC Membership Chair, hand it in person at the GMM or mail it with your payment.



 

2.    PAYMENT OF DUES

 

WSSC dues for 2024 are $55 plus $1 to be donated to the I-LYA Yachtsman Fund. The total is $56.

 

There are several ways to pay your dues: 

Pay with Zeffy using a credit card or bank account.


We have set up a payment link for 2024 dues on Zeffy.com.  Zeffy uses Stripe to process payments. Zeffy makes money when people give Zeffy a donation when they pay for something.  It is free to the club to collect payments and free to you too.


BUT YOU REALLY SHOULD change the donation to Zeffy to $0 on your Order otherwise it defaults to a 17% surcharge. I'm sure they would appreciate anything but nothing is OK too.

Mail a check or pay in person at the GMM.


Make checks payable to West Shore Sail Club, write 2024 membership renewal in the memo line and send to:

Pay in Person: By attending the general membership meeting, you may pay with check or cash. Bring your signed member form.

Using Paypal?  We are asking you to add $2 to cover the cost of transaction fees.  


Paypal

Go to www.paypal.com and sign into your account or create an account. 

Select "Send" and type wsscfinancial@gmail.com and press Next

Enter the payment amount of $58 ($56 plus $2 to cover the required PayPal fees) and answer the question "What's this payment for?" with Your Name and 2024 Membership Dues. Press Continue. 

Next select your payment method or enter your credit card information or choose to add your bank account to link it to Paypal.
Note:  Linking a bank account takes a few days, if you choose this option you will have to return to Paypal.com in a few days to complete this payment. After selecting the payment method press Next.

Review you information and select "Send Payment Now"

Your membership card will be mailed to you after payment is received.

 

All dues are payable by the February GMM (February 1st, 2024).

After March 1st, 2024 there will be a $10 reinstatement fee (Late fee).

Note to WSSC non-paying Life Members: According to our constitution Life Members must submit a filled application form every year. Non-paying Life Members cross out the dues section and write "Life-Member". Open the attached form in the email, fill it out and email, hand deliver or send it by mail.
