In Project 351 We Learn to Share our "WHY":

Your "Why" is the reason you want to do something, or what the big motivator is. I would like to share with you my "why" for my Fall Service.

I serve because there are people right in my community that are going without the basic necessities including food. We may not always remember to be thankful for every meal, but especially around the holidays, there are people all around us struggling to put food on the table. My goal is to help change this in a small way for others in my town!

ABIGAIL, CLASS OF 2026, WESTPORT

I would like to share some of the other ambassadors' "why's"

“I serve because hunger IS present in my hometown. Sometimes we may forget because it doesn’t directly impact us, but the families that are struggling don’t have the option to forget. It is always present in their lives, and we have the tools to change that.”

— JOSIE, CLASS OF 2020, NEWTON

“I serve because we have the resources to end hunger. We just need people to unite to take the initiative.”

— FALEEHAH, CLASS OF 2020, FOXBORO
