About Me

I am from the small village of Kirkland Illinois, and I currently attend Northern Illinois University (NIU). Coming from a family of alumni, including my dad; and two sisters made attending NIU an obvious choice. It's also close to where I grew up. Currently a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering. The colors assignment taught me so much about my personality that I never realized before. I'm currently working two jobs at the park district and public works, and when I'm not working or doing school, I enjoy spending time outside by a cozy fire. I find working outside to be very rewarding and I love being surrounded by nature. Other interests and hobbies include foxes, heavy equipment, and woodworking. In my free time, I enjoy learning about these subjects and expanding my knowledge. Working with my hands and creating something tangible is very satisfying. Overall, my personal life is focused on working hard, enjoying the simple things, and pursuing my interests.
