HOW TO BOOK:

Enter your contact information & pay your non-refundable deposit of $45. This secures your time frame and is applied toward the admission of one person- You can bring as many people during your time frame as you wish; their $150 admission will be due when they arrive at the farm.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR TOUR:
Otters are naturally playful creatures who are easily distracted and easily excited. The Westmeister Farm team has spent thousands of hours with each of our otters, resulting in social and friendly animals. The otters will be free to do as they please in their enclosure. They will be plenty excited to swim with you since the pool is only open during these appointments. This makes the swimming experience a fun novelty and encourages them to splash around with your group.
This is a PRIVATE appointment. Swimming with Otters is $150 per person. One person will schedule the appointment and put a downpayment of $150 for their own spot. On the day of the appointment, the rest of the group will be paid for on-site at the end of the experience. Only you and the people you invite will be present for Swimming with Otters. We allow a maximum of 6 people at a time to be in the pool. More than 6 guests are welcome to attend and take turns in the pool by swapping places. There is a viewing area for guests who want to watch the experience but do not wish to get in the water. The price is the same for every guest whether or not they get in the water.
WHAT TO BRING:
Prepare as if you are going to go swimming at a public pool!
DO bring a towel and a change of dry clothes for after swimming (we have a changing room)
DO wear a swimsuit AND a T-shirt to go over it. (It can be a waterproof swim-shirt or a regular fabric T-shirt)
DON'T wear a swimsuit with strings
DON'T wear lotion, deodorant, perfume, or jewelry.
DON'T wear sunscreen. The facility is indoors.
You are allowed to bring your phone into the pool for photos and videos, but we recommend caution. Westmeister Farm is not responsible for any possible damage that might occur when using your phone in a pool of water.

Meet your Swimming with Otters tour guide! Every member of the party will sign a waiver.
Go over the rules for swimming and interacting with otters.
Otters get a snack.
Play with the otters while learning about the species from your tour guide. We welcome questions!
OPTIONAL opportunity to add-on a painting with otters experience ($10 per painting)
Swim with the otters!
Once your time in the pool is up, you can use the changing room and dry off.

In order to prioritize the safety of our staff, animals, and guests, Westmeister Farm reserves the right to remove guests from our premises who are not following our policy. If a guest is not following our rules and policies, we will not allow them to swim or interact with the otters. Their ticket is non-refundable.

How many people can come to the appointment?
Only the people in your group will be participating. We allow up to 6 people to go swimming in the pool with the otters at a time.
Will there be extra people at my Swimming with Otters experience?
No, only your group and the Westmeister Farm staff will be present.
Can my child come and swim?
Children 10 and up are welcome to swim. All children between 10-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
How deep is the water?
About 4' deep.
What if I forgot to bring a T-shirt?
All guests are required to wear a shirt over their suit to go swimming. Our gift shop has T-shirts available for purchase.
Can I see the rest of the farm before or after I go swimming?
A farm tour is NOT included in a Swimming with Otters appointment. This is a separate booking.
