Remind students about the summer assignments. Students should install and turn on rainbow brackets on IntelliJ IDE.
Review options for laptop or lab computer use. Remind students to bring in laptops whenever possible.
Have students sign up for the following tools using their personal email address:
Google Classroom (code for Data Structures for the 2022-2023 class year: hluxxbp)
TheCSAutograder (Look on google classroom for school code and class code)
CodingBat (You can reuse your login from AP CSA if you still have it. Be sure to turn on "Teacher Sharing."
Tell students to store login and password information as Notes on their phones.
Tell a story of how a math teacher intentionally deceived you in middle school in order to keep things simple. Review the "Tenets of AP CSA."
Ask students to create and run a "Hello, world" program using IntelliJ.
