Hi, I'm Ms. Anderson! This is my third year teaching at West and my fourth year teaching overall. I taught my first year at Nibley Park School K-8 teaching 7th and 8th grade math. Now, this is my third year teaching primarily Secondary Math I. The students are my favorite part of my job and I can't see myself teaching anywhere other than West. I graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Math Education with a minor in ESL teaching from Utah State University. Go Aggies! You can find me wearing Utah State t-shirts most Fridays. I enjoy spending my time outdoors: hiking and playing tennis during the summer and snowboarding during the winter. I also enjoy watching soccer and attending Real Salt Lake games.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from USU in 1992 with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Psychology. Later in 2005, I earned my Master's degree in Statistics at USU.

I have taught at Kennedy Junior High, Brockbank Junior High, Ben Lomond High School, Bear River Middle School, USU, Snow College, Glendale Middle School, and West High School. I enjoy reading and playing Pokemon Go!

I'm Mary Chamberlin and I'm excited to join the staff of West High this year! This is my sixth year teaching in Salt Lake. Prior to WHS, I taught at Glendale Middle and Horizonte. Before becoming a teacher, I graduated from McGill University in Montreal (Canada!) with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and worked as an aviation engineer for almost ten years. I moved to Utah in 2012 to join Math for America and earn my Masters in Mathematics (Teaching) from the University of Utah. In my spare time I like to ski, travel, knit, and go backpacking with my dog.

I graduated from The University of Oklahoma where I studied Mathematics and Modern Dance Performance. After graduating, I began teaching math in Oklahoma. I have now been teaching for five years, and I am ecstatic to be teaching in Utah where I can also pursue my number one hobby: rock climbing. When I'm not teaching math or clinging to the side of a cliff, you will probably find me sewing or building something.

Hey, I'm Mr. Pelton! I love snowboarding, white-water rafting and painting. Math is super neato too! I went to the University of Utah.

I am teaching my 29th year at West (4 yrs as a dance teacher and 25 as a math teacher).

I attended Boise State University (my home town) with studies in business but switched to Utah State University with a Major in Dance Education and a Minor in Math. I have coached the Oestanas, been an advisor for the Cheer Team, and assisted many coaches as a teacher/mom. My husband, many relatives and three sons are all graduates of West!
