Introductory classes
Snowplow 1: Children who have never skated before.
Snowplow 2: Children with some experience.
Snowplow 3: Children have experience on the ice without assistance from instructors.
Basic: Children have completed all 3 snowplow classes or are experienced skaters.
Beginner Hockey: Children who can skate well enough to work on hockey skating techniques. Child can not skate with assistance and must be able to stop, glide, and skate forward. No sticks are allowed on the ice. This is a skating class only. Spots are limited.
After the first few weeks each child will be placed in the appropriate level after his or her skills are evaluated by one of our instructors.
Children are placed into groups based on age and ability and will move up as the instructors see fit.
After a child has mastered a level they will be tested by their instructor and placed in the next level.
A helmet is required for all classes.
The rink does not provide helmets.
Skaters will not be allowed on ice with out a helmet.
