Great looking crew. I even see some of the old gang from the Tri-County Club. Ron came in late after the photos working at CFTA so got a picture of him later.

Myself and Steve VE1OR had a great weekend at Cape Jourimain Nature Centre during the annual International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend 2025.
Unfortunately with the burn ban on because of the dry hot weather we could not travel through the woods to the lighthouse so we set up at the field behind the information center.
We recorded 175 contacts including stations from France, USA, Spain, Germany, Sweden and of course Canada. We also recorded 20 contacts with other lighthouse and Lightships. We had many tourists stop by to see what we were up to including visitors from Argentina, Chile, India, England, USA, Germany, Brazil and Japan. Thanks to everyone at the centre for letting up set up for the weekend.
Thanks also to JP VE9ADV, Lysle VE1BZE and David VE9DWJ for driving out to chat with us during the activation.
As you can see in the pictures, the Cushcraft R-6000 contines to be a easy setup and works so well from 10 though 20 meters.

It was a wonderful summer day in Pugwash at the Thinkers Lodge where the WestCumb ARC set up Parks on the Air (POTA).
We arrived at 11am and were ready to start the day at 12 noon. Over the next three hours Steve VE1OR and Jim VE1JBL made 110 contacts using CA-5448. During those contacts many were Park to Park.
I want to thank Sue & Terry Duncan VA1SIS & VE1AS for setting up this event and for also supplying us with baked goods, treats and water throughout the afternoon.
Others who attended the event were Borden VA1CBC, Garrett VA1OR, Colleen VE1CEO and David VE9PTT.
We also had more entertainment during the event as a large bulk carrier came into port.

Here are three pictures taken during the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend at Cape Jourimain New Brunswick. The first is Steve VE1OR operating the HF station inside the lighthouse and the second shows the Lighthouse, HF vertical antenna and the Confederation Bridge while the third shows the HF vertical with PEI off in the distance.
There were many visitors to the lighthouse throughout the day including fellow ham Lysle Anderson VE1BZE who dropped by.
