It has never been easier to get your amateur licence than it is today.
The entire test is multi-choice. An online learning programme where you can access all questions, exam sheets and study guides set by NZART along with completing quiz's for all the questions to prepare well in advance of your exam. You can have as many goes at these as you like
We intend to run a training weekend 20th and 21st June 2026 culminating in the Amateur Exam.
The exam has 60 multi choice questions and you only have to get 40 questions correct to pass. There are members at the Branch who are happy to help you prepare for your exam so you are certainly not alone as you work towards your goal of getting your license.

Anyone wanting to have a go at some of the quiz's please get hold of me. There are about 600 multi choice questions, but when it comes to the exam the system sets 60 with a mix from all of the sections. To pass you are required to got 40 correct. Sorry but this exam can only be done face to face
Costs:
$50 Club charge (this includes morning and afternoon tea, one year local club membership) Payment to be made when enrolling to secure your booking.
$85 Examination Fee, Processing of application, and issue of call sign and certificates with 0ne year NZART subscription included. (Payment for this is completed with application when exam passed).
