Westbury HS Counseling Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide accessible services that will enlighten and support every student’s success academically, socially and personally. Counselors and affiliates are student advocates who provide services to meet the individual needs of the students we serve so they can become a productive citizen in society.
Greetings, my name is
Mrs. Cherone' Flakes,
⚜ I am from New Orleans, La, been living in Houston 23 years.

💖I am married for 20 years, I have a daughter who is graduating this Fall from Nursing School at PVAMU. I have a bonus son, who is welder technician, I also have a beautiful 2 1/2 years old daughter.
🎓 I graduated from Slidell High School. I have a Masters in School Counseling from Houston Baptist University in Houston, TX. I also, have a Masters in Leadership from Concordia University in Austin, TX. I received my Bachelors Degree from Texas Southern University in Education.
🏫I have worked in Education for 20 years. I worked in Elementary for 13 years as an ESL teacher and then became a School Counselor.
