Matches

• Matches will be played in accordance with the NottsBA Senior League Rules.

Match Fee (home and away for 2025-2026)

• Adult member, £4 per match.

• Junior, Student, or Concessionary member, £2 per match.

Home Matches

• Home matches will be played at The Nottingham Emmanuel School, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YF, England on Thursdays 7-9:30pm, i.e. the same place and time as our club night. Play must stop at 9:30pm. Refer to rule 12 of the NottsBA Senior League Rules if play has to be stopped before a match is complete.

• One member of the West Bridgford BC team is required to post a photo of the signed paper scorecard in the team's WhatsApp group.

Away Matches

• One member of the West Bridgford BC team is required to post a photo of the signed paper scorecard in the team's WhatsApp group.

Match Secretaries

• Our Match Secretaries are listed on the Committee page.

• Match Secretaries are responsible for managing their matches, this includes:

  • Determining the starred players and informing the club Secretary, if starring is appliable.

  • Establishing a team to play in each match, including starred players as required by Rule 8 of the NottsBA Senior League Rules.

  • Rearranging matches if required, and communicating changes to the club Secretary.

  • For home matches, inputting the match score in to the Badminton England Tournament Software website, refer to the Captain's Guide on the NottsBA website, no later than 4 days after the match has been played.

  • For home matches, ensuring the match bag and a match score sheet is in the hands of someone playing in a match.

  • For away matches, confirming the match score in the Badminton England Tournament Software website, refer to the Captain's Guide on the NottsBA website, no later than 7 days after the match has been played.
