What defines the Westbank Urban Centre (WUC)?
What defines the Westbank Urban Centre (WUC)?
The City of West Kelowna defines it as the area from Butt Road (north) to Harfax Farm Road (south) and the length of the Hwy 97 Couplet.
Within the WUC there are three sub-areas as described in the City's Official Community Plan (OCP):
A. Mixed-use Corridor (Blue) - Brown Road between Gosset and Ingram Roads. (Mid-rise or high-rise buildings with commercial and residential.)
B. Commercial Corridor (Red) - higher density commercial uses and mixed-use buildings.
C. Residential Shoulders (Green) - a range of multi-unit residential and mixed-use housing.
