When & where do the Board of Directors meet?
In the clubhouse the 2nd Monday of each month at 9:00 AM. No meeting in July.
Can I attend the Board meeting?
Yes. All owners are welcome for the regular session and may request to address the Board. (Address is limited to 10 minutes.)
What is a Special Assessment?
If the monthly dues do not cover all the operating expenses or if additional funds are needed to fund a special need, the owners may approve a Special Assessment.
What are Reserve Funds?
A Reserve Fund accumulates money to cover the cost of repairing, replacing, or restoring common areas, e.g. roads, clubhouse, ponds, etc.
What is a Reinvestment fee?
When a home is sold, the buyer pays a fee to the Association to be used for the improvement and maintenance of the community. The Reinvestment fee is currently $750.
Where do I get proof of insurance for myself or mortgage holder?
A certificate of Insurance may be requested by contacting your insurance agent.
Is approval required to remodel my home?
Any and all modification to the exterior of a unit, including landscaping and repainting, must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee. Interior changes not visible from the exterior do not require approval.
Can I have a Yard Sale?
You, or your estate, may have one Yard Sale not to exceed 3 continuous days when moving out of West Springs.
