Auditions for Music Fest 2026 are open! Deadline: October 2nd
This form is required whenever a student requires private transportation for a field trip. For example, if they need to be picked up early by a parent and will not be returning to school by bus, this form is required.
For excused absences from a performance (must be cleared with Mr. Ornelas in advance), students will be required to complete this alternate assignment to earn points for the performance.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Select three songs from the choral music we are performing this semester and complete an analysis sheet (attached) on each one.
There should be THREE analysis sheets in total (one per song).
Email completed assignment to Mr. Ornelas at kornelas@hartdistrict.org
Due date = the day of the performance you are missing. (Example: if you are missing the November 7th choral magic competition, you must email Mr. Ornelas the three analysis sheets by November 7th for full credit)
