CLINICAL ROTATIONS

West AHEC assists students in finding placement for required clinical rotations. While our priority is placing UK and U of L students in medical, physician assistant, pharmacy, or dental school, we also help other allied health students find placement within our 14 county service area. 

*IMPORTANT* If a student is requesting placement at any Baptist Health Deaconess site, the program coordinator must request an information packet from our Clinical Education Coordinator. West AHEC requires a minimum of 30 days notice prior to placing a student at Baptist Health Deaconess. 

STUDENTS SHOULD NOT CONTACT PRECEPTORS PRIOR TO INVOLVING WEST AHEC.
