Welcome to Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets (WESM) Esports, where gaming meets competition and community. Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for high school students who share a passion for esports and gaming. We believe that gaming is not just a form of entertainment, but also a way to develop critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship skills.

At WESM, we value diversity, respect, integrity, and excellence. We strive to create a culture that celebrates individual differences and encourages mutual understanding and acceptance. We also uphold high standards of ethical conduct and fair play, both on and off the virtual field.

Our goals are to:

• Build a strong and sustainable esports program and gaming club that attracts and retains talented and motivated students.

• Provide opportunities for students to improve their gaming skills, compete against other schools, and earn recognition and awards.

• Foster a sense of belonging and community among our members, and promote socialization, collaboration, and leadership development.

• Educate our members and the broader community about the benefits and challenges of esports and gaming, and advocate for their recognition and legitimacy as a valid form of sports and recreation.
