As my contribution to one of our latest CMI-BAM projects within the MMB program, I worked along with my peers to make a presentation on the feasibility of building a chitosan manufacturing plant on the coast of North Carolina. I was responsible for the market research within our project (slides 13-16).

Working with the team that I was a part of allowed us to delegate tasks to one another that may or may not have been a topic that any one of us was particularly familar with. By creating a support system with my team members, we were able to ask each other for help when needed and surrounded ourselves with a teamwork-oriented environment that fostered asking questions, accountability, and hard work.

I have gained technical knowledge throughout my collegiate career. However, the ability to convey the information in a way that is digestible to the reader is a nuanced skill that requires empathy and a deep understanding of the topic. This is an example of a technology brief I wrote on a patented DNA cloning technology.
