My research focuses on evaluating and certifying machine-learning systems under distribution shift. I develop mathematically grounded methods for quantifying and correcting shifts between training and deployment conditions, enabling reliable deployment decisions. I lead applied research projects, supervise PhD and MSc students, and coordinate third-party funded research at the interface of foundations and industrial AI.
