I am a scientist at the Allen Institute working at the intersection of mathematics, physics, and biology. Before joining the Allen Institute, I was a Courant Instructor at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University (2023–2026), where I collaborated with Prof. Alex Mogilner. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023 under the guidance of Prof. Ehssan Nazockdast, and my M.S. (2018) and B.E. (2015) from Tsinghua University.
My research interests span mathematical biology, biophysics, cell mechanics, low-Reynolds-number hydrodynamics, complex fluids, fluid–structure interactions, interfacial rheology, and active matter. Through mathematical modeling, analysis, and scientific computing, I seek to uncover the physical mechanisms that drive cellular organization, motility, and morphogenesis.
