Wednesday, August 12 - Walkabout Night (3 pm - 6 pm, arrive early to setup)

Be sure to arrive early if you're volunteering to help with setup.

This is a great opportunity for students and families to: 

✅ Tour the building and locate classrooms
✅ Pick up Chromebooks (6th grade and new students)
✅ Learn about WMS clubs, activities, and 8th-grade sports
✅ Meet members of the WMS PTA and sign up for the new school year

Please note: Teachers will not be attending this event, as they are not contracted to return until later in August. Walkabout Night is designed to help students become familiar with their class locations and the school layout before the first day.

Tuesday, August 18 - Teacher Return (morning)

Help Us Welcome Back Our Amazing Teachers!

Our educators return to school to kick off a new year, and the PTA wants to start their day with a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast!

We're providing breakfast for 70-105 staff members and introducing them to the PTA and the many ways we support our school community.

Staff are encouraged to join the PTA, and the team with the highest membership by October will earn bragging rights and a special prize!

Thursday, September 3 - Open House (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm)

Open House is a wonderful opportunity for parents and guardians to meet their child's teachers and learn more about the upcoming school year.

Join the PTA and receive a special thank-you gift: 

• Students who join will receive a squishy 

• Parents who join will receive a Basketball Discount Admission Card 

• Teachers are encouraged to join, too!

Everyone who visits our table will have a chance to Spin the Wheel and win a fun prize!

Your PTA membership helps support programs, activities, and opportunities that benefit all WMS students and staff.
