Dr. Wendy Hui Wang is a full professor of the Computer Science Department of the Stevens Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. She received the NSF CAREER Award in 2014 for her research on verifiable computing and machine learning.

Dr. Wang is broadly interested in machine learning, data mining, security, privacy, and their intersection across various domains. Her recent work focuses on enhancing the trustworthiness of machine learning technologies through three primary avenues:
Privacy - Fortify ML systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Fairness - Identify and address biases in ML models;
Accountability - Allow traceability and auditing of the decision-making process of ML systems.
Her research is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Cisco, and Google.
