The Wendigo is a mythological creature that originated from North American Algonquian-speaking tribes. This legend predates the Europeans coming to America. This creature is said stalk and eat humans and, in spirit form, to possess humans and turn them into cannibals. The Wendigo is described as a giant creature up to 15 feet tall or as a beast that grows larger the more it eats Its lips are chewed or mostly missing because it has eaten them, and it may have pointed ears and horns or antlers like a deer.

The Skinwalker is known as an evil shapeshifter in the traditional Navajo legend. Skinwalkers are known for luring people to them by shapeshifting and then killing and eating them. It is said that Skinwalkers are witches that used to be human. These creatures tend to shapeshift into humans and animals. They typically transform into things like wolves, coyotes, foxes, eagles, owls, and crows. People have described Skinwalkers as hollowed-out creatures that look similar to dogs.
