The Wenatchee Jazz Workshop is celebrating its 26th year

Here's the scoop:

The Wenatchee Jazz Workshop is a local, non-profit organization devoted to bringing world-class jazz professionals to Wenatchee to spend a week teaching and inspiring Wenatchee and Eastmont jazz band students. This year we are happy to announce the return of the LA6: professional performers and educators from Los Angeles who have been the mainstay of the workshop for many years.

• When & Where: February 23-27, 2026. Workshop sessions will be held at Wenatchee High School. Your band director will provide more information and a schedule when it becomes available.

• Concerts: Thursday, February 26th at Eastmont High School and Friday, February 27th at Wenatchee High School. Tickets for family and friends are on sale now. You will have the option to buy online or at the door. The pros and select students will be performing on Thursday night, tickets are by donation. They will also perform on Friday night with the schools. February 27th concert will be live-streamed.

• Student Obligations: regular attendance at jazz band; attend workshop sessions and rehearsals, perform at the concert and attend the alternate night’s concert. If you have questions about student participation and the workshop schedule: please contact your student’s band director.

• Family Donations: There is no charge for students to participate, however, donations are accepted and encouraged. The workshop is only partially funded by the two school districts. This unique opportunity would not be possible without the support of donors, sponsors, grants, ticket sales and volunteers. Thank you for helping in any way you can!

WJW is an affiliate of the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Tax-deductible donations are accepted through the museum. Donations to the workshop can be made online at:

Checks should be made out to the Wenatchee Valley Museum with “Jazz Workshop” in the memo line and mailed to 127 S Mission Street, Wenatchee 98801.
