Project Overview

This exhibition invites visitors to explore how the concept of the metaverse can be applied to museum tourism and cultural heritage experiences. Inspired by Leicester Jewry Wall Museum, the exhibition investigates persistence as a key metaverse concept, exploring how historical places can be experienced as environments that continue to change and evolve over time rather than remaining static reconstructions.

 Through animation, augmented reality and digital visual design, visitors are invited to experience seasonal transformation, environmental storytelling and evolving visual elements. The project explores how these design strategies can communicate persistence, supporting a deeper understanding of metaverse experiences within museum and cultural heritage contexts.    About
