I am a passionate game and software developer located in Berlin in Germany. I got hooked on gaming and game developing shortly after the dinosaurs put down their controllers and went extinct. During my studies, I specialized in computer science with a focus on real-time computer graphics and medicine. Finally, after 20 years as a game developer, I released my first game to the public! What began as a hobby has grown into an entertaining way to explore the cultural quirks and fun facts of every country around the world.

The third big project from the team of Mad About Pandas is the richly narrative and visually stunning game Hitchhiker from the publisher Versus Evil. The game tells the story of a hitchhiking guy traveling through the American Midwest in the 1990s. One of the biggest challenges was managing the huge amount of animations and dialogue text to cover several hours of gameplay, plus porting the game to multiple platforms. I served as the technical lead and spent several years working on this project.

The first production from the publisher Fictive Studio is Forever Forest, a mystical action game developed by the experienced team at Mad About Pandas. Set in a procedurally generated, infinite world, Forever Forest blends exploration, survival, action, and role-playing in an immersive experience. I contributed several years as lead programmer and partly as project manager.

TruckSimulation 16 offers one of the largest virtual open worlds available on mobile devices, featuring a realistic driving experience across Middle Europe. Players can complete missions, hire drivers, and expand their logistics empire. I worked several years on the project as lead programmer.

The "game" purpose is research, from the developer kunst-stoff together with the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden and German Center for neuro-degenerative diseases. It is used during an examination using an imaging technique called MRI.

This app is a part of a long-term advertising campaign of Volkswagen and contains a vast amount of information about the production of cars and features the funny video "The Fun Theory".

The mobile game received several awards, also the German Computerspielspreis, with is the highest compliment for developers, and the Red Dot Award, which is the highest trophy for designers. The app is about a jelly character, who you have to save off frightening by changing the rails in a haunted house.
