On May 6, 2018, Wells Fargo announced the launch of a new marketing campaign called "Re-Established" to help demonstrate the importance of Wells Fargo's commitment to re-establishing the broken trust with both existing and future customers.
The ad commercial for the campaign begins with a scene showcasing the company's origin in the "Old West" then goes on to reference the 2016 scandal, then lastly goes forward to depict what appears to be a "trusting" relationship between employees and customers.
A little less than a year after the "Re-Established" campaign, Wells Fargo announced in January 2019, the launching of another campaign entitled, "This is Wells Fargo."
According to Wells Fargo, the campaign is supposed to illustrate the company's ongoing process in building a better bank.
With this campaign, the company made changes to their logo which is supposed to demonstrate Wells Fargo's transformation to a dynamic, contemporary, and innovative bank.
