For the last 10 years, I have pursued various forms of health education. I completed my Doctorate of Pharmacy in Pakistan in 2022, and am currently studying to get qualified to practice in Canada. I am learned in the medical ways. During my time in Pakistan, I spent many moons in the company of sufi sages, ascending the various stages, aspiring in vain to see my soul. I am adept with the breath. I have myself invested many thousands of dollars learning from health professionals in my own pursuit of good health. Both my parents were doctors, as are most of me family members. You could say, I come from generational health :D
Jokes aside, in my pursuit of wisdom, I have concluded exercise is divine. Investments in your health will always pay good dividends. Socrates tells us
“it is a shame for a man to grow old without knowing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable”.
Our bodies have been given to us in trust, and to show gratitude for our physical and mental faculties, we should utilize and express them, then raise them, to their highest capabilities. It is for these reasons that I have studied, researched, and practiced exercise science for the last 10 years. Drawing knowledge from various disciplines including strength training, yoga, meditation, with a fundamental understanding of nutrition, I have developed a holistic approach to personal training that I believe, once completed, will provide you with the knowledge, tools, and expertise to transform your lifestyle with minimal disturbance, and ultimately adopt a fitness state of mind.
But what does that mean exactly?
When they studied the populations with the highest percentage of centenarians (100+ years old), the top two most common indicators of longevity were:
1) Healthy Social Relations and 2) Active Lifestyles.
Sadly, many of our current medical and rehab facilities do not take in to account our social health. Psychiatry/Therapy and Physiotherapy should be the first things covered by our healthcare systems, but – and I’m speaking as a pharmacist – it’s difficult to profit off of illness if you cure it. I know I seem to be throwing around a lot of random health terminology to look smart, but let me tell you a PERSONAL story from the pharmacy:
The sweetest old lady walks in with her walker, to pick up her regular medication. Half a dozen different bottles prepared by yours truly. As I pass her the pills, one for hypertension, one for cholesterol, another for pain, and another for her sugar. She reminds me to pack her pain meds as she complains about some new knee pain she has been having. I tell her, “ Yes, I packed them for you, but you know if you did some rehab or exercise, not only would your pain go away, but you could walk and move better than before!” she shrugs “That would cost me $80 a session," she shake the bags of meds, "these are 6$ for 3 months!” The top 10 most prescribed medications on the market and majority of the conditions for which they are prescribed, can all also be treated with exercise. ALL OF THEM.
So here is what I propose. I want to sell you a cure. I cannot guarantee you a miracle, but the purpose of my treatment is not to have you as a forever patient. I want to cure your mind, body and soul. Using movement, breathwork, and mindfulness in the form of personal training sessions, in the comfort of your home or ideally my private home gym. You will be provided with tools and material for you to track your learning as you master the ways of health. If you are a child looking for a safe space to gain strength or confidence, my program is for you. If you are an elderly person with chronic conditions or illness and you want some autonomy and independence and to be active with your family, reach out to me I want to help you. If you are an average joe or young woman, looking to create permanent healthy changes for yourself and your future families, this is my goal. I am a second generation healer, and I was born to help.
With the right client, I truly believe I can create life-changing results in just three months. With a minimum of two sessions per week, that’s just 24 sessions to transform your body — and more importantly, your mindset — into a fitness state of mind.
I don’t charge by the hour. I charge by the session, because in the beginning, you may need more time and support. But as you grow stronger and healthier, you’ll become more efficient — physically and mentally.
Still, there’s no shortcut to mastery. This path takes sincere effort and hard work. I’ve made the system simple, but it won’t always be easy. I’ve provided the tools — now the work is in your hands.
