Very little change has occurred in the central area which was originally covered in thick gorse, apart from the absence of gorse

This area is just over the creek running down from New Town Falls

In 2010 a post was placed here by the City of Hobart to mark the spot where the photos were take from, but COH has dispensed with this comparison method.. As a result it is a bit of a guess where the exact location was, but the 2018 photos would be no more than 2-4 metres from the original.
