Mission Statement: WelleslECO is a student-led organization that works to identify the biodiversity of Wellesley primarily through communal tracking on the inaturalist website in order to raise awareness and appreciation of Wellesley's environment.

About us: We are student environmental activists eager to make a positive impact on our town by raising awareness of our beautiful environment. Having long appreciated inaturalist, we thought that its identification system, easy interface, and communal aspects would make it the perfect conduit for this project.

About inaturalist: iNaturalist is a social network of naturalists, citizen scientists, and biologists built on the concept of mapping and sharing observations of biodiversity across the globe.
