and protect your personal information when you use the WeLink mobile app, website, and
related services (“the Platform”).

process secure payments.

● Account details: Name, email address, phone number, and age verification (16 + and
legally eligible to work in New Zealand).
● Profile information: Work history, skills, ratings, and verification status after your
in-person screening.
● Payment information: Processed securely through trusted third-party providers (Stripe,
Afterpay, Poli). WeLink does not see or store full card details.
● Location data: Used only to confirm job arrival and navigation to the work address.
● Device and usage data: To improve app performance and prevent fraud.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
● Create and manage your WeLink account.
● Match workers with suitable job listings.
● Process payments and payouts securely.
Maintain quality, safety, and reliability across the Platform.
● Communicate updates, confirmations, or support messages.
● Comply with New Zealand legal obligations.
We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on secure, encrypted servers.
We use recognised security technologies and access controls to keep your personal
information safe.
Only authorised staff may access personal data when required to provide support or resolve
disputes.
4. Third-Party Services
WeLink partners with reputable payment and verification services such as Stripe, Afterpay, and
Poli.
Each processor handles sensitive information according to their own security standards and
privacy policies.
WeLink does not store your financial information.
5. Your Rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:
● Access and update your personal information.
● Request that your data be deleted at any time.
● Withdraw consent for location tracking.
● Ask how your data has been used.

We retain information only as long as it’s necessary to operate the Platform, meet legal
obligations, or resolve disputes.
When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our active
systems.

These do not track personal browsing behaviour outside of WeLink.
