Wallace Caleb Bates is an award-winning public relations professional with years of experience in the industry. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from Eastern Kentucky University and a master of arts degree in communication from Morehead State University. 

His professional experiences include time spent curating content and running social media pages for statewide educational agencies and community colleges, plus working with nonprofit organizations to support community development. 

Bates founded Welen Services, named after his grandparents, William and Helen, to provide high-quality support to local businesses, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations and political campaigns across southeastern Kentucky. His grandparents taught him from a young age the importance of caring for others and serving his neighbors.

 The organization's vision is clear: ensuring organizations are equipped with the skills and resources necessary for competing and existing in an ever-globalizing world.
