Dr. Satyajit ROY

I was born and raised in India.  After getting my master’s degree from the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, I directly joined the PhD program in    the    field of transition metal-catalyzed carbene and nitrene  chemistry under the supervision of Professor Buddhadeb Chattopadhyay at the Centre of Biomedical Research, Lucknow, India (Degree awarded from Banaras Hindu University).  After completing my PhD, I moved to the USA for my postdoctoral study under the guidance of Professor Rudi Fasan  at the University of Rochester, NY where I spent more than two years and moved to University of Texas at Dallas. Currently,  I am continuing  my  postdoctoral research at UT Dallas, USA
